2000: R HAWTHORNE WAS BURIED IN AN UNMARKED GRAVE IN ARDWICK CEMETERY. THE LOCATION OF THE GRAVE WAS LOST SO A TABLET WAS ERECTED IN THE BOUNDARY WALL. THE CEMETERY WAS CLOSED AROUND 1900 AND IN RECENT TIMES WAS CLEARED AND TURNED INTO A SPORTFIELD. MUCH OF THE BOUNDARY WALL HAS NOW GONE AND LOCATION OF THE TABLET IS CURRENTLY UNKNOWN |
