HE SERVED FOR 32 YEARS IN THE/ ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS AND/ COMMANDED THE BATTALION FROM 1893 - 1899/ "GRANT TO HIM, O GOD, ALL THAT HE NEEDS FOR HIS ETERNAL HAPPINESS/ IN THY BLESSED LOVE AND SERVICE, AND TO US TRUE REPENTANCE AND/ GRACE TO FOLLOW HIS GOOD EXAMPLE , THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD"/ THIS MEMORIAL IS A TOKEN OF DEEPEST LOVE FROM HIS WIFE AUGUSTA/ HIS SON ROBERT ORMELIE FRASER, HIS BROTHER IN LAW EVELYN HAY/ MURRAY, AND ELIZABETH FRANCES PALMER/ NEARER MY GOD TO THEE NEARER TO THEE
