Physical Description

Octagonal base surmounted by octagonal plinth, tapering shaft and cross of sacrifice. Inscription incised in black lettering on the front face of the plinth. A tablet with the names of those who died in WW2 has been added to the base and two tablets with the names of those killed in Iraq have been added to the 4.30 face of the base.

The names of those killed in WW1 are placed on a tablet that is fixed to the concave wall behind the cross. The tablet is identical in design to the tablet in the church.

The cross stands on a paved area that is enclosed at the front by a post and chain link fence.
