Physical Description

Three steped base surmounted by a rough hewn stone of remembrance. The dedicatory inscription is incised and painted blue on a sandstone tablet set into centre of the front face of the stone. Gravel has been placed around three sides of the memorial and the area is enclosed by a low metal fence which is painted blue.

Badge of the Royal British Legish is carved in low relief at the top of the front face of the stone of remembrance. The wording on the badge is picked out in blue paint.
