Maintenance History:

2013, Aug: International Cotton Association (formerly the Liverpool Cotton Association) is in the process of relocating the memorial to a more prominent location. A new plaque has been commissioned to consolidate the content of the two current plaques.

A BAYONET FORMED PART OF THE ORIGINAL DESIGN BUT AFTER MANY HAD BEEN REMOVED NO FURTHER REPLACEMENT WAS MADE

RECENT PHOTOGRAPH SUGGESTS THAT METAL PLAQUE MAY HAVE BEEN PAINTED SINCE ORIGINAL RECORD SUBMITTED TO US.
