Physical Description
EXTREMELY COMPLEX MEMORIAL. CENTRAL OBELISK FLANKED BY TWO COLLONADES . EACH COLLONADE HAS A SMALL CHAPEL ON EACH END MAKING FOUR CHAPELS IN ALL. MOST NAMES ARE ON THE WALLS OF THESE CHAPELS ALTHOUGH SOME ADDITIONS HAVE BEEN CARVED ON SMALL CIRCULAR PEDESTALS WITHIN THEM. WW2 NAMES ON ADDITIONAL PANELS ADDED TO THE INSIDE OF THE COLLONADE (1992) THE ENTIRE MEMORIAL IS SET IN A MEMORIAL GARDEN WITH TWO FOUNTAINS.
