TWO BRONZE STATUES OF SOLDIERS ON EITHER SIDE OF WHITE STONE COLUMN SURMOUNTED BY BRONZE LION supporting an armorial SHIELD BEARING RELIEF OF ST GEORGE & DRAGON.

ON ALL FOUR SIDES OF COLUMN ARE CARVED EMBLEMS - above inscriptions: (front) Arms of the City of London, (rear) Arms of the County of London
sides: three flags, each topped by a crown and wreath
