The Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire, commemorates all those who have died in service since the 1 January 1948. As well as remembering those killed in conflict, it also lists the many servicemen and women who have died while on duty or been killed by terrorist action.
